I'll try to make a short 'readme' because I know the problem reading long
'readme's. Also, I am in hurry to bring out all this before I go in holiday. I
know that I have some problems with my English, so please close one eye. Please,
read this whole 'readme' before you start the macro.

TurboCalc V3.0 or higher


IMPORTANT: Kalender_Macro.TCD is a German macro sheet! I don't know if you see
it in German or in English after loading. Also it is nessesary to change some
cells in column A, as there are:

 cell A2: ...("Please enter year (JJJJ):";"Year";#B2)
 cell A30 to cell A36: the first two letters of the weekday (Mo, Th...)
 cell A55 to cell A66: the name of the month

First there was the idea to have a calendar in form of 12 printed large sheeets.
Tied together and pinned at a wall or so, you can enter private events and even
these you don't know now, but later (like invitations, dates and so on). But the
result didn't pleased me. Some events are steady (like birthdays, feasts) and
had also to be entered after printout. So I modified the macro and there it is:

Kalender_Macro.TCD!

Before I tell you how to use Kalender_Macro.TCD, you should know a little bit of
using macros with TurboCalc. While programming Kalender_Macro.TCD, a lot of
experiments I needed to realize it. This is because several of the macros didn't
do that like discribed and what I expected. The gratest problem was to speed up
my macro with the commands 'REFRESH', 'RECALC' and 'SHEETFLAGS'. The result
using these commands was, that the subroutine, which enter the days and events
into the calender, didn't operate correct. I tried out a lot of things, even
seperate macrosheets with parts of my macro programm. Always the same problem.
With other words, no way to speed up the macro! So, please do not treat me with
questions about this problem. I will report this the autor of TurboCalc. Without
the possibility of printing out the events the whole calendar was made in less
than 15 seconds (with speedup)!!! Now you have to wait about 18 minutes (with a
A1200) depending of the number of events...


1. How to use Kalender_Macro.TCD.
---------------------------------

First you should know that you must not insert or delete lines or columns in
this macro. If you do so, you would disturb the macro. So, take great care!!


1.1 Entering events.
--------------------

In the framed shaded area you can enter your private events by the day and the
event. There is no need to sort the events for any month! This will be done by
the macro. Please accept the rule, that only feasts (like christmas or so) must!
have the color red for the day and event. Movable feasts must be edited every
year. Leave the days of other events in black color, the event itself can have
any other printable color (see the example). There is no need of a special end
for each month! If you have entered all events don't forget to save this macro
sheet!!!!


1.2 Starting the macro.
-----------------------

The only thing to do is to start the macro via the menu. Sorry, it takes about
18 minutes until the calender is made. The problem is TurboCalc. If your
calendar is made, a file-requester appears and you can save the calendar.


1.3 Printing the calendar.
--------------------------

Maybe this can become a problem since you use another configuration than me.
Maybe some experience must be made before you have the best result. The best way
to check this is to use the preview function of TurboCalc. If you can see every
complete month on a single sheet, I think there is no problem. But you should
know that the left and right margin is set to 0.5 cm via the macro to use the
whole width of a DINA4 papersheet! If you use another papersheet or the margins
of your printer are greater, you have to change first via menue the
configuration of your printer and sheet. If you are then missing the sunday
column in the preview try to reduce the column width of the first small! column
(i.e. column A in month JANUAR) by the smallest possible step (0.125). I know,
this is not the best way but the only one, since TurboCalc has also the problem
to mark the page width at the right place! If the first column reached the
smallest value and the preview is not correct yet, you have to reduce all 'day-
columns' of the first month by .125 and maybe increase the first column by small
values. So, if you think you found the right values for the columns width,
change them to all months and check again via preview. If, and only if all
months are seen complete in the preview, change the column with for the first
column of each month in  cell A10 and the column width for each day in A6. Maybe
you also want to change the sheetformat in cell A5 and save the macro. Surely,
this procedure is not very comfortable, but the only way to get a correct
printout with your private system configuration.
